RSVP Speed Reader

The speed reader, paused on the word Reading, with the letter a in red. — One word at a time. The red letter stays in one spot.

Black screen, white type, and a red letter that stays locked in place so your eye never has to hunt.

Drop a file on the window. It reads .txt, .md, and .pdf. Drop an .srt or .vtt and it reads the words from that caption file, with the timecodes and cue numbers left out. Words only. No picture and no sound.

Windows. Unzip it and double-click RSVP Speed Reader.exe. Nothing to install, and no account. If Windows says it protected your PC, choose More info, then Run anyway.

Space starts and stops. Left and right move one word. Up and down change the speed, from 100 to 1500 words a minute.
